West Ham vs Tottenham – Premier League

Friday 5th May 20:00, London Stadium

Match Preview and Betting Tips

Spurs are still outsiders for the Premier League title despite beating local rivals Arsenal at the weekend as Chelsea were also victorious during their trip to Goodison Park.

West Ham could end Tottenham’s title hopes tomorrow night if they manage to take even a point from the game, but Spurs look really good at the moment and will not be short on motivation with Kane and Alli looking likely to score in every single game they play.

West Ham wont go down this season, but officially they are still not safe and with home games running out and form poor on the road the Hammers could use a win tomorrow night.

The hosts have a few injury concerns ahead of the match with Carroll and Antonio still sidelined, but the return of midfielder Mark Noble from the bench in the Hammer’s last game provided a much welcome sight, and the one club Englishman could start against Spurs.

Its hard to see Spurs failing to win this one as they really are flying right now, but West Ham are unbeaten in their last four after some mean defensive displays and should give their guests a good game.

I’ve gone with a Tottenham victory and over 2.5 goals to be scored, with Kane to open the scoring.

When the pair met at White Hart Lane for the sides reverse fixture they produced an exciting 5-goal thriller. West Ham winger Antonio scored the only goal of the first half to hand the visitors a well earned lead.

A goal from Winks in the 51st minute brought Spurs back onto level terms, but a penalty in the 68th minute from Lanzini put West Ham back in front.

Harry Kane looked to have earned the hosts a point with his dramatic 89th minute equaliser, but that wasn’t the last action of the game as the very same player scored a stoppage time penalty which put the hosts in front for the first time in the game and turned out to be the winner.
