Leicester vs Bournemouth – Premier League
Sunday 21st May 15:00, King Power Stadium
Match Preview and Betting Tips
Leicester and Bournemouth are set to battle it out for a top 10 finish as they go head to head on the final day of the season.
Leicester have a game to play on Thursday against Tottenham, and a win in that match would see the Foxes leapfrog Bournemouth and take a 1 point lead into tomorrows game.
The hosts have been a little inconsistent in their last six matches, winning twice, losing twice and drawing twice. Bournemouth edge the form guide with three wins, one draw, and two defeats, with the Cherries now unbeaten in their last four games and aiming to continue that run with a possible top 8 finish as reward.
Both teams like to play open, attacking, attractive football, which gives me hope that this will be one of the games to watch on the final day of another thrilling Premier League season.
Josh King has enjoyed a fantastic second half of the season, with his total of 16 league goals making him the Cherries clear leading goalscorer, and a target for some ‘bigger’ Premier League clubs over the summer.
With all that in mind I’m putting my money on this game producing over 2.5 goals, with both teams scoring and the end result being a 2-2 draw. Historically this fixture produces an average of 2 goals per game and none of the last four meetings have witnesses over 2.5 goals, but I’m confident it will be different this time around.
I’ve picked striking duo Slimani and King to score in the 90 minutes, as the Bournemouth man is on firing in front of goal and Slimani is dangerous in their from set pieces and crosses.

Leicester vs Bournemouth Stats
Tomorrow marks the 10th meeting between Leicester and Bournemouth, and so far its the Foxes who edge the Cherries in the form guide with one more victory to their name.
One goal was all that was needed to secure Bournemouth victory over Leicester in their reverse league fixture back in December.
Midfielder Mark Pugh got the all important goal in the 34th minute, where despite having 60% of the possession the hosts didn’t create the best chances during the 90 minutes, and Leicester were very unlucky to lose.
